Decrypt, HashKey Capital Launch Layer East Media at Thailand Blockchain Week

Decrypt and HashKey Capital joined leading Asia-Pacific media platforms at Thailand Blockchain Week to formally launch Layer East Media, a strategic alliance that “represents a key step in bridging the East and West for Web3.”

Eight of the alliance’s founding membersDecrypt, HashKey Capital, Coinpost, Bitcoin Addict (Cryptomind Group), Coin68, PANews, Odaily, and Coinvestasi—signed an MOU agreeing on a “unified approach to responsible reporting, collaboration and innovation within the blockchain space.” The rest of Layer East Media members include Crypto Times, Tokenpost, CoinNess, Foresight News, Blockbeats, Techflow, Chaincatcher, Blocktempo and Wu Blockchain.

"Layer East Media is building a new frontier for crypto media across Asia," said Ilan Hazan, Co-Founder of Decrypt. The alliance will focus on helping Web3 projects in the west to navigate and grow their businesses in the Asia-Pacific region, through providing Western and regional projects with trusted media channels and insights tailored to diverse Asian markets.

Built on the founding principles of increasing transparency, empowering innovators and investors, and fostering communication across the APAC region, Layer East Media aims to serve as the “go-to hub and information clearinghouse” for Web3 media, innovative Web3 brands, investors and policymakers across this diverse market.
